Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us when you use DeployLane, in plain language.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who we are

DeployLane is a product of FreelyIT, Sommelsdijkhof 2, 5035 JG Tilburg, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 18085135. Email: support@deploylane.dev.

In these terms, “DeployLane”, “we” and “us” mean FreelyIT. “You” means the person or organisation that holds the DeployLane account.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to everything DeployLane offers: the dashboard at app.deploylane.dev, the API, the MCP server, and the actions DeployLane performs on your servers on your behalf. By creating an account you accept them. If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.

DeployLane is built for professional use. If you use it as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country apply, and nothing in these terms takes them away.

3. How DeployLane works

DeployLane is a control plane. Your apps, databases, backups and files run on servers and storage in your own Hetzner Cloud account, under your own agreement with Hetzner. DeployLane uses the credentials you connect, such as Hetzner API tokens, Object Storage keys, GitHub access and SSH keys, to create and manage resources there when you ask it to, or on the schedules you set up. This means:

  • Hetzner bills you directly for servers, storage and traffic, including resources DeployLane creates at your request. Those costs are yours.
  • Your use of Hetzner, GitHub and any other service you connect is also governed by that service's own terms.
  • We are not responsible for the availability, pricing or changes of those services.

4. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login and your API and MCP tokens secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at support@deploylane.dev if you suspect someone else is using your account.

5. Plans and payment

  • The Solo plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe.
  • You can pay by card or iDEAL. If you pay by iDEAL, you authorise us and Stripe to collect the following monthly payments by SEPA Direct Debit from the same bank account.
  • DeployLane (FreelyIT) issues an invoice for every payment. We email it to the address of your account, and you can download all your invoices under Settings → Billing. Emails from Stripe are payment receipts, not invoices.
  • Prices are listed in euros on our pricing page. Any VAT that applies is shown at checkout.
  • If a plan includes a free trial, the trial conditions shown when you start it apply.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We don't refund partial periods, unless the law requires us to.
  • We announce price changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.
  • If a payment fails, we'll remind you by email. If it's still unpaid 14 days after the payment failed, DeployLane's features (everything except Settings and billing) become unavailable until it's paid. Your servers, apps, backups and cron jobs on your own Hetzner account keep running.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use DeployLane to:

  • break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • distribute malware, send spam, or attack, scan or overload other systems;
  • run anything that violates the terms of Hetzner, GitHub or another connected service;
  • access other customers' accounts or data, or test DeployLane's security without our written permission;
  • overload DeployLane itself, for example by working around rate limits.

What runs on your servers is your responsibility. If your use puts DeployLane, other customers or third parties at risk, we may suspend your access to DeployLane. That doesn't touch your servers. Where we can, we'll warn you first. Found a security issue? Please report it to support@deploylane.dev.

7. Your data

  • You own your code, apps, data and content. We don't claim any rights to them.
  • We use your credentials and data only to provide DeployLane: to do what you ask, to run the schedules you set up and to show you the results. The credentials you connect and your environment variables are stored encrypted.
  • If your apps process personal data, you are the controller of that data. Where DeployLane processes it on your behalf, for example when you view logs or run a query from the dashboard, we act as your processor. Contact us if you need a data processing agreement.
  • How we handle personal data about you is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Backups

DeployLane helps you schedule backups and restore them, but the backups are stored in your own Hetzner account and it's up to you to make sure they meet your needs. Test your restores, and keep an extra copy of data you can't afford to lose. See section 10 on liability.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep DeployLane available, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and there is no service level agreement unless we have agreed one with you in writing. We sometimes need maintenance, and plan it for quiet hours where we can.

When DeployLane is unavailable, your apps keep running on your servers. The dashboard, deploys and anything else that needs DeployLane may not work until it's back. You can follow the current state on our status page.

We improve DeployLane all the time and may change or remove features. If we remove something that's an important part of a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.

10. Liability

DeployLane is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any damage that results from using DeployLane or from not being able to use it. That includes lost data, lost profit or revenue, downtime, and costs charged by Hetzner or other third parties.

This doesn't apply to damage caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness (opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid), or where mandatory law, such as consumer law, doesn't allow us to exclude liability.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using DeployLane at any time and ask us to delete your account. Your servers, databases and backups stay in your Hetzner account; DeployLane simply stops managing them. Revoke the Hetzner and GitHub tokens you gave us when you leave.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or don't pay. Unless it's urgent, we'll warn you first and give you reasonable time to put things right. If we ever stop offering DeployLane, we'll tell you at least one month in advance.

12. Intellectual property

DeployLane's software, design and name belong to FreelyIT. While you have an account, you may use DeployLane for your own projects and your clients' projects. You may not resell DeployLane itself unless your plan or a written agreement with us allows it. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.

14. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in the district of Zeeland-West-Brabant, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to a court where you live. Most problems are easier to solve by email, so please contact us first.
